Hi Guys, it’s MO again. Today, i’ll be talking about another restaurant i went to. Sit tight

NOK by ALARA

THE FOOD: Looking for spicy continental rare African food? Yes you’re in the right place. Their food is different and delicious, if you love experimenting with your taste buds I’d personally recommend here. Recreated continental dishes that are well cooked and served. You’d have to taste it to feel what I’m saying. Their Red bean stew with steamed plantain is just so delicious, with varying flavours at each bite. A personal fave I’d recommend is the Ghanaian rice and beans, not being a lamb fan? Then the lamb mafe may not be for you. Putting into words the genuine taste of their food would be undermining it’s worth but Nok is surely not a regrettable visit for a true explorer.

THE AMBIENCE: Indoors and outdoors they nailed the décor by far. Have you seen the Legendary ALARA red wall? Home to major photoshoot sessions, I think the great part about ALARA is how the touch of the fashion house extends to the entire environment, and the backyard?! It’s a playground of colours and uncommon furniture great for pictures for the GRAM, and the indoors? Home to the famous photo frame wall, it’s neat, clean and classy with great ventilation toned with eye calming wall colours and gorgeous chandeliers.

CHARGES: ALARA is a bit on the high side but if you’re looking to spoil yourself with a classy environment and uncommon treats? Awesome. Their services are great, snappy, polite and considerate.

MO again guys and today, we’ll be talking about Craft Gourmet

CRAFT GOURMET BY Lou Baker

THE FOOD: Are you in the mood for an English breakfast? Or you just want to get in touch with your foreign side. Then Craft Gourmet is a guaranteed destination. I won’t lie I searched deeply for something wrong in the food but it was just flawless, everything was well cooked and balanced, nothing was either too sweet or too spicy. It was simply perfection at its finest and the meals tasted as they should. Two Words “International Standard”. The pancakes not overdone and the pasta not under cooked and gosh its sooooo filling. You’d come out feeling fulfilled , I doubt there’s any meal you’d other that you won’t enjoy even if you’re a picky eater. Try your taste buds with these hand crafted {craft} home cooked meals.

THE AMBIENCE: Walking into Craft Gourmet will have you thinking you stepped off a plane and walked right into a restaurant in Central London. The environment is super clean, well-structured and the spacing well utilized, but Boy was it cold. Best to come with back up {a jacket}. Sophisticated but homely furniture and cushions with visually appealing colours, best for a nice brunch meeting or even a date.

CHARGES: It’s costly but nothing good comes easy eyy? Great services, very attentive with snappy meal delivery time. We were well catered for. The Chef was even nice enough to come around and great customers.

Are you looking for great spots to chill with excellent food but are uncertain on where to go? We’re taking care of that. Introducing Food Reviews with MO. A young talented lady who has a knack for food and has also developed interest in reviews shares her experiences with us.

BAY LOUNGE

THE FOOD: We were working with a budget and had lost all forms of excitement from the disappointment of our first destination that was under construction. I’d say the excitement returned after the meal. The pasta was so well garnished and properly cooked and the colours in it were great, tasted well than it looked, it was even more filling than we presumed, so if you’re looking for food in sizeable quantity, this is the place for you. I had friend yam and the pepper dip on the side. Everything was very well cooked, delicious, and crisp to perfection. I couldn’t eat that side alone. The food was impressive maybe because I LOVE food. On the down side, not all the listed food and drinks on the menu was available but besides that I’d still give it thumbs up.

THE AMBIENCE: The environment of the setting is simply beautiful, if you love the outdoor then this is certainly a place for you. With the beautiful scenery, open air spacing with set chairs, it’s one place to come chill after a long day with a cool drink and few friends, It’s definitely a no.1 chill spot but maybe not for a classy outing, a indoors are always advisable for those and it doesn’t harbour a foul smell. It is also a gorgeous stand point to watch the sunset from and is very spacious with sufficient with car parking space for crowd as it also serves as an event centre.

CHARGES: It is very affordable especially if you’re not on a flamboyant budget but also in for a good time. The services were okay, the meal time delivery is unrealistically long and the servers weren’t the most alert, so if you’re not so patient you could be a tad bit frustrated.

ADDRESS: 24 Admiralty Rd Eti-Osa, Lekki Lagos Nigeria.
